I never said there were no sloped roofs. I did say you had the wrong building based on geometry as viewed from above and in a second post I talked about the Sun angle.

Dammit, in my second post on the Sun angle I misspoke and said the facade in question should be facing east, south or north. I meant west. Syria is in the norther hemisphere so northern facades don't generally get direct Sun. The building however may not be sited with respect to the cardinal directions.
