Once a con artist, always a con artist. How much cash did he send to his friends in Iran?

The official portrait of the Indonesian President Joko Widodo was released back in 2014 when he took over the office, but recently it gained some unusual traction. Why? Because someone noticed the Indonesian President has some similarities with the former President of the United States Barack Obama.

Reddit user badcompanygg shared his find and people were quick to compare the two men, some even saying that Mr. Widodo looks more like Barack Obama than Obama himself.

There is an interesting connection here with Ilhan Omar

Is the name Ilham, the same name in Indonesian? Turns out that it is a Muslim name for boys or girls that means inspiration and is almost the same in Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Indonesian.

This name is written with a Turkish dotted İ. It appears as İLHAN in uppercase and ilhan in lowercase.

From the Mongolian title il-Khan meaning "subordinate Khan", which was first adopted by Genghis Khan's grandson Hulagu, who ruled a kingdom called the Ilkhanate that stretched from modern Iran to eastern Turkey.

It comes from the Mongolian word il which means foreign country subordinate to the empire.
