Good for you anon.

You might not qualify for the regular coverage, but I believe anyone out of work will get coverage from the "Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Program" and "Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation", which provides at least $2900/mo for 6 months, based on prior income.

I think you can even apply if you're not unemployed but if your hours have been cut to less than 20/wk because of coronavirus. IIRC, the pandemic program will no longer be available for applications submitted after the end of this month, so best do to it now.

My state had a specific website set up to apply for pandemic unemployment. Might be best to go ahead and apply now on your state's version, instead of using the regular old application process and waiting weeks for them to tell you that you don't qualify for the regular coverage but can apply for the pandemic coverage.
