I’m listening to my church’s sermon this morning and the pastor is preaching support for wearing masks to demonstrate love for thy neighbor. But then he went on to discuss how you should submit to governing bodies (under the assumption they have your best interests in mind, I suppose, but in this case).

I’m fairly new to Christianity as well as this church but this just isn’t sitting well with me. Does this really align with Christianity or do I need to find a new church?
