Exposed: Egyptian Spy Worked for Merkel Spokesman for Years

German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer has revealed that an Egyptian spy worked in the offices of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s spokesman Steffen Seibert for years, possibly collecting information on Egyptian opposition groups.

The man’s activities were revealed by intelligence officials. He man was relieved of his duties in the Federal Press Office and placed under investigation for espionage in December of 2019 by the Federal Criminal Police Office.

The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) has stated that at least two branches of the Egyptian secret service have a presence in Germany, the GIS international security agency and the NSS domestic security agency, tabloid Bild reports.

According to the newspaper, the Egyptian spies mostly gather information on Egyptian opposition groups in Germany, such as the Muslim Brotherhood, but also on other groups such as Coptic Christians.

So far, little has been revealed of what the suspect in the case may have provided to Egypt, but Bild notes that he would have had access to information regarding Egyptian nationals accredited by the Federal Press Office.

Germany has had several problems with spying in recent years, most notably spies from Turkey. In 2016, it was reported that Turkey had as many as 6,000 operatives in Germany and many other in neighbouring Austria as well.

Later that year a Turkish spy was arrested in Hamburg by the German Federal Police and accused of plotting to assassinate several Kurdish and other opposition figures in Germany and Belgium.

Just months later, Germany raided the apartments of four Muslim imams who were also believed to be actively spying for the Turkish government.

German prosecutors subsequently launched a probe into the activities of Turkish spies after claims that followers of exiled preacher Fethullah Gulen were being monitored. The government of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan blamed Gulen and his supporters for a failed coup against his Islamist regime in the summer of 2016.

Secret CDC document says full reopening of schools and universities places Americans at 'highest risk' of spread of coronavirus despite Trump's push to reopen classrooms

A full reopening of schools, colleges and universities this fall would pose the ‘highest risk’ for the spread of the coronavirus, according to an internal document from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The findings are significant in that they clash with President Trump’s stated desire to have schools and universities resume in-person instruction despite the raging pandemic that has so far claimed more than 134,000 American lives.

The 69-page CDC document obtained by The New York Times is marked ‘For Internal Use Only.’

The purpose of the document was to aid federal response teams that were deployed to coronavirus hotspots nationwide.

But the document was circulated the same week that Vice President Mike Pence said that he expected the CDC to revise its guidelines next week so that they wouldn’t be ‘too tough.’

Pence and Trump have been eager to send students back to school so that parents would be free of the burden of virtual home instruction and thus could focus on re-entering the workforce and propping up the economy again.

‘Blatant Corruption’: Jesus College at Cambridge Took £155,000 from Huawei to Fund Paper

A freedom of information request has revealed that Jesus College at Cambridge University received £155,000 from controversial Chinese tech firm Huawei to fund a white paper.

Last October, representatives of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) linked Huawei met at the college alongside business leaders, academics, and political figures to discuss the need for “transnational governance” in developing standards for communications and technology, and that governments need to “consider differences in the normative standards accepted by different countries”.

The ensuing white paper from the symposium was in part funded by Huawei, which donated £155,000 to the college’s UK-China Global Issues Dialogue Centre, according to The Times. Huwaei was disclosed initially to be a backer of the project, but the amount of money spent by the Chinese firm was not revealed until this week.

It was also revealed under freedom of information laws that Jesus College had accepted £200,000 in September of 2018 from an agency within China’s State Council, the Communist Party’s top governing body, to help fund the establishment of the UK-China Global Issues Dialogue Centre at the college.

Jesus College received an additional £55,000 in Chinese state-backed money in order to establish a training course for bosses of Chinese state-owned companies at its China Centre, a separate entity at the college.

The director of the China Centre, Professor Peter Nolan, became Cambridge University’s first “Chong Hua” professor, after the position was reportedly established with the help of a £3.7 million donation from the daughter of the former Chinese prime minister Wen Jiabao.

In response to the revelations, Conservative MP and foreign affairs committee member Bob Seely said: “You’ve got to wonder if this money is influencing their intellectual rigour.”

Tory MP Neil O’Brien described it as “blatant corruption”, warning that “there will be more of this out there.”

Former Labour Party Transport Secretary Lord Andrew Adonis added: “Jesus College, Cambridge should not have accepted this Chinese state funding in return for this obvious endorsement.”

Jesus College denied any wrongdoing, saying the college “always upholds the principle of academic freedom when entering a partnership agreement. It was made very clear [in February] that the report was funded by Huawei, and we would like to reiterate that the company was in no way able to shape or veto the publication’s views, research findings or conclusions.”

“We are proud of our partnerships with world-leading universities and researchers here in the UK,” a Huawei spokesperson said.

In June, the Trump administration warned the British government that they were on a “slippery slope” by reportedly allowing Huawei to construct a £400 million research and development centre outside of Cambridge.

Keith Krach, the U.S. Under-Secretary of State for Economic Growth, declared that Huawei is “an extension of the Chinese government,” warning that “they are after the people and technology. They want to co-opt the researchers and talent from one of the most prestigious universities.”

Durham covers up Obamagate

14 months ago, Bill Barr appointed John Durham to investigate Barack Hussein Obama's use of our national intelligence apparatus to spy on Donald John Trump, a political opponent.

Kalief Browder, accused of stealing a backpack couldn’t post bail, spent three years at Rikers Island awaiting trial, ultimately committed suicide after release. We have two justice systems in our country. This is the reason that the Black Lives Matter movement has taken hold, that there are two systems of justice for the rich, the poor, the white, the Black. What do you make of those who are still to this day criticizing Black Lives Matter, such as Senator Kelly Loeffler? What do you make of that, that they are still doing that?”

Waters said, “I think you said it earlier today when you talked about this need for Trump and those who support him to want to, you know, have absolute power and to believe that it is their right and their responsibility to ensure that blacks and people of color and others do not rise to any level of influence and power, significant that would cause them not to be in total charge of the country.”

She continued, “So that young man is typical of so many young black men and women who have been sent to jail, who have been convicted, who have served long sentences. This justice system is broken. It has never really been in our favor, and it has basically been responsible for ensuring that we could never ever get beyond this suppression and this oppression that has been forced upon us for so many years. So those who criticize Black Lives Matter, they can continue to do that, but I want to tell you the time has come now where we are joined by so many others who really were not there for us in the past. Congress Questions DHS on COVID-19 Spike in Border States

Members of Congress sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security Acting Secretary Chad F. Wolf regarding the recent spike of COVID-19 cases in states along the U.S. southern border. The congressional delegation seeks to discover the impact of legal and illegal border crossings on the number of cases and hospitalizations in counties located along the Mexico-U.S. border.

U.S. Representatives Chip Roy (R-TX), Paul A Gosar (R-AZ), and Ted Budd (R-NC) addressed their questions in a letter to DHS Acting Secretary Wolf regarding the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in states along the border. The letter (attached below) raises questions about U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Border Patrol encounter with those legally and illegally crossing the border from Mexico. It also seeks to clarify the agency’s actions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the U.S.

The representatives began with a discussion of the “significant national decline in COVID-19 fatalities.”

“Many southern states, however, including Texas, have seen recent increases in COVID- 19-positive hospitalizations,” the representatives stated. “As Texas and other states along the border work to address increases in cases and hospitalizations, it is imperative that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) collect and report on COVID-19 positive migrants and department personnel.”

The letter goes on to cite recent reports of more than 10,000 new cases daily in California and separately in Texas.

“In the last two weeks, coronavirus hospitalizations have more than doubled in Texas and remain at an all-time high in California, soaring eighty-eight percent as medical centers near capacity in both states,” the representatives continued. “The California counties seeing the largest spikes in hospitalizations and cases are all located in southern California.4 Notably, state officials have pointed to an unusually high number of hospital admissions linked to cross-border traffic from Mexico.”

Obama Granted Clemency to Terrorists and Traitors, But Democrats Are Angry About Roger Stone

Soon after it was announced that President Trump had commuted the prison sentence of Roger Stone, the outrage mob mobilized. Nancy Pelosi went on CNN to suggest that a law should be passed limiting the president’s clemency powers.

“There ought to be a law, and I’m recommending we pass a law that presidents cannot issue a pardon if the crime that the person is in jail for is one that is caused by protecting the president, which this was. It’s appalling,” she told CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

Adam Schiff couldn’t help invoking the debunked Trump/Russia theory when he responded. “Stone lied and intimidated witnesses to hide Trump’s exploitation of the Russian hack of his opponent’s campaign,” he tweeted. “With Trump there are now two systems of justice in America: One for Trump’s criminal friends and one for everyone else.” Cory Booker echoed the same talking point in his own tweet, “There should not be two justice systems in the U.S.—we can and we must do better.”

This is hardly the first time Democrats have claimed to be outraged at Trump’s acts of clemency. Last year, President Trump granted full pardons for Army First Lt. Clint Lorance and Army Maj. Mathew Golsteyn, who’d been accused of war crimes for taking actions to defend themselves on the battlefield. Yet, when President Trump pardoned them, it immediately sparked controversy and outrage. Earlier this year, Trump commuted the sentence of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, a Democrat, once again, sparking outrage from Democrats and calls for investigations.

But, these same people who pounced on Trump’s acts of clemency yawned and looked the other when Barack Obama commuted the sentence of terrorists and traitors.

Just before leaving office in 2017, Barack Obama commuted the sentence of Bradley Manning (you may also know him as Chelsea), who leaked hundreds of thousands of sensitive government documents to WikiLeaks. A traitor in every sense, in 2013 Manning was convicted and sentenced to 35 years in prison. But, Bradley Manning became a hero of the political left for declaring himself to be transgender, and Obama made his controversial commutation literally just days before leaving office. Manning maintains hero status amongst the left today.

Obama also commuted the sentence of convicted terrorist Oscar Lopez Rivera, the leader of the Fuerzas Armadas de Liberación Nacional Puertorriqueña (FALN), a Puerto Rican terrorist group. FALN was responsible for 130 attacks in the United States, and at least six deaths. An unrepentant Lopez-Rivera was serving a 70-year sentence when Obama set him free. The Congressional Black Caucus had repeatedly lobbied for Lopez’s release during the Obama years, and the commutation was met with praise from Democrats like Bill de Blasio, Congressman Luis Gutiérrez, Bernie Sanders, and others.

Study: Nike, Apple, BMW Among 83 Brands Using Chinese Muslim Slave Labor

A report published Sunday by an Australian think tank revealed that as many as 83 internationally known brands – including Nike, BMW, Apple, Sony, Google, Lacoste, and Nintendo – have active ties to factories where evidence suggests the Communist Party has shipped Uyghur Muslims to engage in forced labor.

The Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), a non-partisan think tank, revealed in its study that it had significant evidence of the Chinese communist regime shipping ethnic Uyghurs out of their native Xinjiang, or East Turkestan, to factories nationwide, where they endured long hours, barely received pay, and did not appear to be able to move freely.

For the past two years, China has built up dozens of concentration camps in Xinjiang, its largest and westernmost province, where between 1 million to 3 million Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Muslim ethnic minorities were forced to live, enduring indoctrination, torture, rape, and murder. In December, the Chinese government – which always referred to the concentration camps as “vocational training centers” – announced that the concentration camp victims had “graduated” from “vocational training” and left the camps.

ASPI concludes that the “graduates” were shipped to factories nationwide against their will to endure arduous labor manufacturing products for software companies, car parts, shoes, and other items. When their work shifts concluded, the study found evidence that the workers were then forced to endure the same sort of indoctrination they found at the Xinjiang camps – learning Mandarin (a language not native to Xinijang), memorizing Communist Party songs, and idolatry of dictator Xi Jinping.

“The Chinese government has facilitated the mass transfer of Uyghur and other ethnic minority citizens from the far west region of Xinjiang to factories across the country,” ASPI revealed. “Under conditions that strongly suggest forced labour, Uyghurs are working in factories that are in the supply chains of at least 83 well-known global brands in the technology, clothing and automotive sectors, including Apple, BMW, Gap, Huawei, Nike, Samsung, Sony and Volkswagen.”

The report specifically identified 27 factories outside of Xinjiang that publicly identify as building goods or parts of goods for the companies mentioned, and are thus part of the corporations’ supply chains. Most of those companies – with the notable exception of companies the U.S. has banned from business there, like Huawei – operate in the United States, meaning American consumers have access to the products in part made by Uyghur slaves.

A decorated Green Beret described as the real 'Captain America' by his friends died by suicide in front of his wife on Monday.

Master Sgt. Andrew Christian Marckesano, 34, served six full tours in Afghanistan and a half dozen more combat tours overseas before recently moving to Washington D.C. to started a coveted new job at the Pentagon, Fox News reports.

He returned home to Alexandria, Virginia, on July 6 after having dinner with his former battalion leader and then took his own life.

Marckesano had three young children.

Sara Kellen, Adriana Ross, Lesley Groff and Nadia Marcinkova are being investigated for their alleged role in Epstein's sex-trafficking ring, according to a report in the Sunday Telegraph.

Ms Kellen, dubbed Ghislaine Maxwell's 'lieutenant' by Epstein's victims, is said to have flown on the paedophile's 'lolita express' almost as many times as the disgraced couple.

Ms Kellen, who is said to have taken a leading role in the sex ring, and the other three women, have previously been accused of recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein to sleep with.

One was also said to have been involved in a sexual relationship with the financier.

According to the Sunday Telegraph, all four of the women received salaries and bonuses for their role in the operation.

Sarah Ransome, then 22, identified Ms Kellen, as well as Ms Maxwell, as being present and calling her in to Epstein's room before one incident of abuse.

'When Jeffrey wanted me, you know, Sarah Kellen or Ghislaine would call me into his bedroom, and I had no choice but to go,' she said.

She said that Ms Kellen and Ms Maxwell would give her sex tips on how to better please Epstein, adding that every girl she brought to the billionaire's island, she knew was there to sexually please the financier.

Okinawa's governor is 'shocked' after Marines report 61 new cases of coronavirus at military bases and demands greater prevention efforts and more accountability from U.S.

The governor of Japan's Okinawa island demanded a top U.S. military commander take tougher prevention measures and more transparency hours after officials were told that more than 60 Marines at two bases have been infected with the coronavirus over the past few days.

Okinawan officials on Sunday reported a total of 61 cases - 38 of them at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, which is at the center of a relocation dispute, and another 23 at Camp Hansen - since July 7. They said that U.S. military officials told them the two bases have since been put in lockdown.

The disclosure of the exact figures came only after Okinawa's repeated requests to the U.S. military.

New York reaches its LOWEST daily coronavirus hospitalizations of 799 and just 7 deaths since mid-March as Gov. Cuomo warns to continue social distancing amid spike in other states

New York has reached its lowest level of hospitalizations and its lowest three-day average death toll since mid-March, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Saturday.

Hospitalizations in New York dropped below 800 to 799 on Friday for the first time since March 18 as Cuomo commended New Yorkers for their work in following coronavirus protocols.

Cuomo revealed Saturday morning that the three-day average death toll in the state has also dropped to seven people, the lowest it has been since March 16.

There were six deaths from coronavirus in New York Friday bringing the total death toll to 24, 974.

It marks an incredible turn around for the state at the epicenter of the country's outbreak just a few weeks ago when new cases and deaths were reaching disturbing numbers.

Donald Trump calls for extradition of ex-MI6 agent Christopher Steele who was behind 'dirtier dossier' alleging Russian influence over US president

Donald Trump has called for the extradition of a former MI6 agent who was behind a controversial dossier about his alleged links to Russia.

Christopher Steele, now a director of Orbis Business Intelligence, was responsible for the 'dirty dossier' published in 2016 that alleged Russian influence over President Trump.

The Steele Dossier contained allegations of collusion between Mr Trump's US presidential campaign and the Kremlin, which have been denied by both parties.

On Wednesday, Orbis was ordered to pay compensation to two Russian businessmen that had complained about data protection breaches including inaccuracies in the dossier relating to them.

Taking to Twitter, the US President shared a report on London's High Court ruling and claimed that Mr Steele should go on trial over the document.

PRAGER: If America Is So Racist, Why Are There So Many Race Hoaxes?

As I wrote nearly three years ago: “Perhaps the second greatest libel — and certainly the most widespread — is that America is a racist country that oppresses its minorities and women. We can call it the American Libel.” (The greatest libel was the infamous blood libel, the fabricated charge spread in Europe for hundreds of years by Christian anti-Semites that Jews kill Christian children to use their blood to bake matzos — unleavened bread — for Passover.)

But if America is so racist, why are there so many race hoaxes? Virtually every time we read about a swastika painted on a door, or a noose hanging from a tree to taunt blacks, it turns out to be either a false alarm or, more frequently, a hoax.

Here are a dozen examples:

No. 1: The Duke lacrosse team (2006): Three white members of the Duke University lacrosse team were falsely accused by Crystal Mangum, a black student at North Carolina Central University, with having raped her. The charges were all fabricated, but the American media and Duke University faculty rushed to judgment and devoted months to smearing the three lacrosse players and Duke University itself as racist.

No. 2: UC San Diego library noose (2010): “Student apologizes for noose in UC San Diego library” (Los Angeles Times). A “minority student” was responsible for placing the noose in the university library. Previously, the Associated Press had reported, “Anger boiled over on the University of California San Diego campus today, where students took over the chancellor’s office to protest the hanging of a noose in a campus library.”No. 5: The LSU noose (2015): It was widely reported that a noose was sighted at Louisiana State University leading to protests against racism there. It was later reported, “LSU said a picture of what appeared to be a noose hanging from a campus tree Thursday was not what it appeared to be” (WBRZ).

No. 6: University at Albany (2016): “A state appeals court has upheld the University at Albany’s expulsion of a woman who along with two friends falsely claimed to be the victim of a racially motivated attack on a CDTA bus in January 2016” (Times-Union). The three black women had attacked a white woman and then claimed they had been racially attacked.

No. 7: Bowling Green State University (2016): “Bowling Green police say student lied about politically driven attack” (ABC).“The day after the 2016 election, Eleesha Long, a student at Bowling Green State University — about 90 miles west of Oberlin — said that she was attacked by white Trump supporters, who threw rocks at her. Police concluded that she had fabricated the story” (City Journal).

No. 8: Dreadlock cutting hoax (2019): “A black student at a Christian school in Virginia who accused three white sixth grade boys of cutting her dreadlocks and calling her ugly now says she was lying about the attack” (NBC).

Portuguese police have launched searches for Madeleine McCann's body on the Algarve.

The searches are said to have been conducted in wells in Vila do Bispo, a 20 minute drive west of Praia da Luz where the British youngster vanished in May 2007.

Investigators reportedly brought in a team of specialist rescue firefighters who included expert divers to examine the water wells in Vila do Bispo on the Algarve.

Portuguese state broadcaster RTP is saying detectives discovered 'fundamental evidence' to be able to prove suspect Christian Brueckner is responsible for her disappearance.

The broadcaster has also linked the German 43-year-old to another missing persons' case in the Algarve resort of Silves.

RTP reporter Sandra Felgueiras last week revealed Breuckner had been arrested on suspicion of exposing himself to children in a playground a short drive from Praia da Luz in 2017 when he was on the run from German authorities.

Top Israel health official: Tel Aviv protests ‘mega health terror attack’

A top Israeli health official has condemned Tel Aviv economic protests on Saturday evening as a “health terror attack”, i24 News reports.

As many as 10,000 Israelis headed to Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square to demonstrate against the government’s “insufficient” economic support for citizens during the COVID-19 crisis, which has seen the loss of 800,000 jobs, with claims that lockdown and public restrictions had ravaged small businesses and independent workers.

Likud’s Yoav Kisch, Deputy Health Minister, slammed the protestors, who were reportedly standing in close proximity of one another.

Kisch hit out on Twitter, saying: “We’re doing everything to prevent gatherings and are paying a high price (socially and economically) in order to stop the virus and then see images from the square yesterday. A mega health terror attack.”

However, Defense Minister Benny Gantz contradicted the Likud politician and offered his support to the protesters.

Gantz said in a social media post: “The citizens who took to the streets express real, justified distress and they have the right to do so.”

“We, as a government, have a responsibility to listen and provide solutions.”

20 demonstrators were reportedly arrested at the protest.

Tel Aviv has been hit by a spate of protests recently in support of Black Lives Matter and against annexation, with strict social distancing and COVID-19 precautions put in place by organisers.

At least 358 Israelis have died since the health crisis arrived in Israel, with more than 38,200 people being infected.

Russia conducts over 23 mln COVID-19 tests

Over the past day 322,000 tests were carried out

MOSCOW, July 12. /TASS/. Russian specialists have carried out more than 23 mln tests for the novel coronavirus, the sanitary watchdog said on Sunday.

"More than 23 mln tests for the coronavirus have been conducted in Russia," the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing reported. Over the past day 322,000 tests were carried out.

On July 9, the sanitary watchdog reported that the number of conducted tests exceeded 22 mln.

According to the watchdog, some 277,700 people remain under medical supervision in Russia over a suspected coronavirus infection.

Congress pulls punches on Russian bounties firestorm

Congress appears poised to do little, if anything, to pass legislation responding to intelligence indicating Russia had offered bounties for the killing of U.S. troops, despite the initial firestorm that erupted on Capitol Hill.

Democrats are continuing to press Trump administration officials for answers since news first broke that the U.S. intelligence community concluded months ago that a unit in Russia’s military intelligence agency offered payments to Taliban-linked militants to incentivize the killing of U.S. and coalition troops in Afghanistan.

A few bills have been filed in recent weeks to address the issue. In the Senate, the top Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee, Sen. Bob Menendez (N.J.), proposed adding sanctions against Russian President Vladimir Putin to the annual defense policy bill.

But his amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) was not one of the few that has been teed up for a vote when senators return from recess later this month, and it faces a struggle to get a vote in the Republican-controlled chamber.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has said that it’s “no secret the Russians are up to no good,” but did not directly answer when asked if he would endorse new sanctions.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) similarly sidestepped questions about whether Congress should take new action against Russia, instead decrying leaks to the media. Pressed further, Cornyn said lawmakers should focus on protecting U.S. forces.

“We know that countries like Russia and Iran, in particular, are using proxies to attack Americans wherever they can find them,” Cornyn said. “So none of this should be a surprise to anybody who’s been paying attention. But I think we will continue to try to figure ways to protect our forces against any kind of threats, whether its Russian bounties or just people who want to kill Americans. That’s where I think we need to focus on, is maintaining that force protection.”

In the House, Reps. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.) and Joe Cunningham (D-S.C.), introduced a bill that would require the director of national intelligence (DNI) to quickly brief lawmakers on intelligence that a foreign government is deliberately seeking to kill or severely injure U.S. service members.

Huawei News: Company Wants Deal With Boris Johnson To Delay Removal From UK's 5G Network

Chinese tech company Huawei is seeking to meet with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to discuss a possible delay of its removal from the United Kingdom’s 5G cell networks, the Sunday Times reports. The proposed delay would push the controversial tech firm’s removal past the country’s elections in June 2025, at which point Huawei hopes that a new government will reverse the removal entirely.

The U.K. allowed Huawei onto its 5G networks in January. However, sanctions imposed against the Chinese company by the U.S. prompted the British government to reconsider its place in the country’s infrastructure.

In exchange for this delay, Huawei has pledged to continue maintaining its equipment currently being used in the U.K. for older 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.

The perceived security risk posed by the Chinese company has led to calls, from at home and abroad, for Johnson to ban it outright. A decision on the matter is expected to be announced by July 22.

Liu Xiaoming, the Chinese ambassador to London, has said that the pending ban would set a bad precedent and send a “very bad message” to Chinese businesses looking to work in the U.K.

Founded in 1987 and based in Shenzhen, China, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., provides telecommunications equipment, like the kind at the center of the debate in the U.K., as well as consumer electronics, including their “Mate” brand of smartphones and “MateBook” brand of laptops. A few moments before Campbell stepped onto the elevator, FBI Special Agent Tim Taylor and his counterintelligence team had left Campbell's room to retreat to the back of the swanky hotel. It was a beautiful, crisp October day, and the agents had squirreled away behind the Ritz in an unmarked black SUV loaded with sophisticated surveillance equipment to monitor Campbell's meeting with the Russians. He was to regather with them after the drop was completed.

Thanks to Taylor and his fellow counterintelligence agents, the morning had already been surreal. Campbell gazed in wonder as the agents spread rubber-banded piles of hundred-dollar bills across his hotel bed. The agents counted the stacks until they were certain that they had all $50,000. Trump Jr. defends president's drop in polls, dings Biden's populist 'made in America' plan

Trump Jr. said news outlets have been critical of the president while refusing to go after Joe Biden

President Trump’s oldest son defended on Sunday his father’s reelection chances amid flagging poll numbers and criticized presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s economic plan as “asinine.”

Speaking on “Sunday Morning Futures,” Donald Trump Jr. blamed the president’s drop in the polls on the media coverage Trump has received recently – saying news outlets have been critical of the president while ignoring going after Biden.

“I think when you have the media onslaught where media has just totally abdicated their position to objectively look at both sides,” Trump Jr. said. “They're not looking into any of Biden's past. They're not looking into any of his history.”

He added: “They want to do whatever they can to keep the American people from actually seeing Biden. He hasn't been defined. And the media is trying to make sure that no one gets to define Joe Biden, because once he is, you'll see how terrible this notion could be for America.”

While the polling gap between Trump and Biden has narrowed a bit since the former vice president held a double-digit led over the current White House occupant late last month, a RealClearPolitics average of polls still has Biden up nine points on the president with less than five months to go before November’s general election.

Trump Jr. also hit Biden on the Democratic candidate’s recently released “Build Back Better” plan, which proposes spending $700 billion on American products and research – in the hopes of bringing back millions of jobs lost by an economy flattened by the coronavirus pandemic.

“You know that Joe Biden can sell this notion of ‘now we're going to be buy American after 50 years of legislation that sent our jobs, that sent our American Dream to China,’” Trump Jr. said. “It's asinine.”

Trump Jr. also accused Biden of using his time in public office to enrich his own family and once again questioned why the media isn’t looking into the matter.

“I called it liberal privilege because we hear a lot about privilege these days, but liberal privilege is the ultimate because they can say one thing, do the other and never get called on it,” he said.

Aspiring first lady still doesn't know how many grandchildren she has

Her Eminence Dr. Jill Biden, Ed.D., probably doesn't have a lot of free time, given her extensive duties as caretaker for her husband Joe, the Democratic nominee for president. That must be why she enlisted a coauthor to carry the load on Joey: The Story of Joe Biden, an illustrated children's book comprising just 27 pages of actual text.

Kathleen Krull was an obvious choice, given her absolute dominance of the woke preschool-age market with titles such as Hillary Rodham Clinton: Dreams Taking Flight, No Truth Without Ruth: The Life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Starstruck: The Cosmic Journey of Neil deGrasse Tyson.

It's safe to assume, however, that Dr. Jill at least wrote her own blurb on the dedication page, which reads: "To my grandchildren: Naomi, Finnegan, Maisy, Natalie, Hunter, and Beau."

This page must have eluded the book's fact-checkers, if there were any, because it simply isn't true. Despite their repeated assertions to the contrary, the Bidens have at least seven grandchildren—not six. Naomi, Finnegan, and Maisy are Hunter Biden's children from his first marriage. Hunter and new wife Melissa Cohen recently celebrated the birth of a son, Beau, named after the deceased brother whose widow Hunter briefly dated. Natalie and Hunter are Beau's children.

Hunter, however, is also the legally acknowledged father of a fifth child—grandchild number seven—identified in Arkansas court documents as "NJR." A DNA test established Hunter's paternity "with scientific certainty." Hunter reached a settlement with the child's mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts—who worked under the stage name "Dallas" at the Mpire Gentlemen's Club in Washington, D.C.—requiring him to make monthly child-support payments. Joe Biden's continued refusal to acknowledge NJR's existence raises serious questions about the former vice president's professed devotion to law and science.

This is all to say that such factual errors would reflect poorly on any author, but are especially egregious when the (acknowledged) author has a doctoral degree in education from the University of Delaware, which Jill does, by the way.

That's a shame, because Joey contains some moving anecdotes about about the former vice president's quaint 1950s upbringing in Scranton, Pa., where Joey and his buddies played fort, romped through the neighborhood, and "pooled their pennies and dropped in at the candy store where the owner kept a pet monkey."

We learn that even at a young age, Joey had a peculiar passion for looking after other people's wives. "When his friend's father left for a weeklong fishing trip, Joey went to visit his friend's mom," writes Dr. Biden. "He promised to take care of her while her husband was away." Old habits die hard. He probably still enjoys playing baseball with nuns as well.

VA spent $5 million on wasteful contract that went to pal of agency executive

The VA's former Assistant Secretary for Human Resources and Administration engaged in an unethical scheme to award a contract to his friend. The entire cost of the contract ended up going to waste

The Golden Horseshoe is a weekly designation from Just the News intended to highlight egregious examples of wasteful taxpayer spending by the government. The ward is named for the horseshoe-shaped toilet seats for military airplanes that cost the Pentagon a whopping $640 each back in the 1980s.

This week, our award is going to the Department of Veteran Affairs for awarding a $5 million contract to a company whose owners, according to a report by the department's Office of Inspector General (OIG), had a personal relationship with Peter Shelby, the VA’s then-assistant secretary for human resources and administration. The contract “resulted entirely in waste,” the OIG determined.

In February 2018, the recently appointed Shelby awarded a one-year contract to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business. The small business, which remains unnamed in the IG report, was supposed to provide leadership and development trainings, in addition to talent assessment services that could be employed for hiring and promotion decisions.

However, the VA purchased services from the company far in excess of what could actually be used. Over the course of the year-long contract, the VA used only 232 of the 17,000 training licenses it had paid for. Not only that, but the talent assessment software that the government had procured for $1.2 million could not be used at all because the information technology that it relied upon to function did not meet the privacy and security standard required by federal regulations.

The entire $5 million spent by the VA was effectively wasted as a result of actions described by the VA Inspector General report, detailed below.

On June 5, 2017, when Shelby had been sworn into his position but did not yet have any official duties, he sent an email to the owner of the small business that said, “please be patient, my friend,” explaining that he needed to “get structures and authorities aligned” before starting work on the contract assignment.

Later, when asked about his relationship with the small business owner, Shelby told OIG investigators that he did not know the owner prior to his appointment. However, several months before Shelby joined the VA, "the Small Business Owner sent an email to then VA Secretary David Shulkin recommending Mr. Shelby for the assistant secretary position.”

Hamas Naval Forces Commander Fled To Israel

Hamas’ Naval Forces commander, Mohammed Omar Abu Ajwa, has fled to Isreal, the al-Arabiya TV and other Arab outlets reported on July 12.

According to the UAE-based news channel, Abu Ajwa and his brother fled the Gaza Strip to Israel aboard a boat. Israeli special forces allegedly facilitated the daring escape. The commander reportedly took with him “sensitive documents” related to Hamas’ military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.

Al-Arabiya claimed that Abu Ajwa took the decision to escape upon finding out that Hamas has learned of his work for the Israeli intelligence, which began in 2009.

Several Arab sources claimed that Hamas’ Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 16 fighters of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades after the alleged escape of Abu Ajwa. The fighters were also suspected of spying for Israel.

Hamas, however, denied making any arrests and stressed that its interior ministry didn’t release any official statement on such issue.

“[These are] rumors that serve the aims of the occupation in destabilizing the internal front of the Gaza Strip,” RT quoted Hazem Qassim, a spokesman for the Palestinian group, as saying.

The reports on Abu Ajwa’s escape are yet to be verified. The upcoming few days will likely reveal more information on this issue.

Israeli intelligence agencies are known to be highly-active inside the Gaza Strip. In 2018, an Israeli special forces unit was exposed while carrying out an operation in Gaza. Back then, a member of the unit and seven Palestinian fighters were killed in clashes.

Another ISIS Terrorist Assassinated In Syria’s Daraa

On July 12, Nawras Abdul Rahman Haredin, a former member of ISIS’ Khalid ibn al-Walid Army, was assassinated in northwest Daraa.

According to several opposition sources, unidentified attackers riding a motorcycle shot and killed Haredin in front of his metal workshop in the town of Tafas in the morning. The attackers were able to escape.

Haredin is a former member of ISIS’ Khalid ibn al-Walid Army, that used to occupy the Yarmouk basin in western Daraa. The terrorist group was neutralized in a joint attack by the Syrian Arab Army and former rebels that reconciled with the government. The attack was backed by the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Researchers Suggest Cannabis Derived CBD Could Help Reduce Deadly COVID-19 Lung Inflammation

Researchers at the University of Nebraska and the Texas Biomedical Research Institute have recently published a peer-reviewed article suggesting that CBD could be included in the treatment regimen for the COVID-19 coronavirus. Researchers say that both THC and CBD appear to reduce the severe lung inflammation associated with the virus.

The article was published in this month’s issue of Brain, Behavior, and Immunity, the authors concluded that, “Collectively, these findings support the investigation of cannabinoids as a plausible option to be added as an adjunct to Remdesivir or any new antivirals on SARS-CoV2 induced lung inflammation.”

The authors of the paper pointed to numerous studies that showed the anti-inflammatory properties of CBD. THC is known to have anti-inflammatory properties as well, but because some patients would prefer to not have the psychoactive side effects, the researchers chose to focus specifically on CBD.

“Unlike THC, CBD has a high margin of safety and is well tolerated pharmacologically even after treatments of up to 1500 mg/day for two weeks in both animals and humans, which suggests its feasibility to reduce SARS-CoV2 induced lung inflammation/pathology and disease severity,” the article said.

The article also suggested that CBD could also help with the psychological stress that comes after a fight with something like the coronavirus.

“Like Ebola, patients recovering from COVID-19 may experience various psychological and social stressors that may be triggered by residual chronic inflammation and autoimmune reactions. Therefore, randomized clinical trials to test the efficacy of CBD on alleviating anxiety and fear associated with COVID-19 infection and its consequences on people’s physical, social and psychological well-being may be beneficial in the future,” the article reads.

The researchers also said that more studies are needed to confirm their assertions, and they cautioned that they don’t recommend for coronavirus patients to smoke anything, including cannabis, and instead suggested taking the substance orally

And quite frankly, many Christian churches have been infiltrated by practitioners of Kabbalah, which is a book of Jewish mysticism, magick spells, enchantments, man-made numerology and other esoteric and occult practices that the orthodox rabbis use in the course of their daily lives, and now teach Christian leaders to use, as well.

So, with so many of the world's "top tier" leaders pushing occultism - including those enemies of Christ who run the four hidden dynasties of politics, education, economics, and religion – it should come as no surprise to you that the entire global coronavirus crisis is replete with occult symbology and ritual occult initiation themes.

Indeed, the entire manufactured coronavirus crisis is one giant, occult ritual from start to finish, divided up into four mini-rituals, each with the distinct occult purpose of initiation and transformation of the world and its people into a new global order.
