On June 27 there is an unusual jump in Covid death numbers and these counties are the top deaths for that day. Not sure if there's any foul play, but it looks pretty bad, and should probably be investigated.

Queens County NY also has a similar jump in deaths on July 1st but I think that's probably more likely to be accurate since it's the single highest county in the US, or close.
