Latest Released Documents Show FBI Withheld Transcript of Russian Call To Flynn During Interview

Documents, notes, and transcripts continue to be unearthed in the Flynn case. The latest damning information includes a memo draft from January 2017 in which the DOJ states “FBI Leadership” decided “against showing Flynn transcripts of his calls with the Russian ambassador in the White House interview that led to his guilty plea,” reported National Review.

The latest memo was released “along with a batch of handwritten notes” from DOJ and FBI officials surrounding Flynn’s infamous January 24, 2017, White House interview with former FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI agent Joseph Pientka. The notes are further indications that the FBI conducted a “spontaneous” and unnecessary interview with Michael Flynn, who had just started the role of national-security adviser for President Trump. Flynn released the documents Friday after they were given to his defense team by the Justice Department.

Although heavily redacted, the National Review shows the DOJ draft document states, “FBI advised that based on this interview, they did not believe General Flynn was acting as an age of Russia.” Additionally, the “FBI also advised that although they recognized the statements were inconsistent with the FISA collection, they believed that Flynn believed what he was telling them. FBI did not confront Flynn with the communications during the interview.”

National Review reports that the latest memo, “explains that while the Bureau ‘prompted Flynn with the language used during the call,’ Flynn was not shown his actual words because of a decision ‘made by FBI leadership not to confront Flynn with the actual tech cuts.”

“Tech cuts” commonly refers to internal FBI documents “that contain and describe FISA intelligence, suggesting that the FBI picked up Flynn’s calls through FISA surveillance.” Flynn’s calls in question are with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. National Review points out that the mere mention of “tech cuts” adds “further context to the questions over how Flynn’s calls were monitored in the first place.”

After the calls were picked up through FISA surveillance, DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz said his office “found no evidence” of a FISA application on Flynn, “raising the possibility that Flynn’s calls with Kislyak were picked up through FISA surveillance of the Russians.”

Transcripts of Flynn’s calls were released in May which confirmed Flynn never mentioned “sanctions” and asked Russia not to “escalate” after the Obama administration sanctioned the Kremlin for election interference. Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell said the new information concludes, “In short, there was no crime for many reasons.” “These documents were known to exist at the highest levels of the Justice Department and by Special Counsel, yet they were hidden from the defense for three years” added Powell.

Shootings and murders are way up this year in New York City and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is sure she knows why. According to the stunningly stupid Rep., violent crime is spiking in NYC because desperate people are stealing bread to feed their hungry children. AOC says a lot of dumb things but this may be the dumbest. I know we say that a lot here at Def-Con News, but every time she opens her mouth she out-stupids the last time.

AOC started by saying the $1 billion cut in the NYPD budget had nothing to do with the recent spike in violent crime, adding that it wasn’t even really a budget cut. She followed that by claiming the bail reform in which criminals are let go as soon as they are arrested also had no impact on the rising violent crime in the city.

If it ain’t that stuff, what does AOC blame for the shocking amount of violent crime in NYC. I’m glad you asked:

“So why is this uptick in crime happening? Well, let’s think about it,” started Ocasio-Cortez.

Stand back, folks. AOC is about to think.

“Do we think this has to do with the fact that there is record unemployment in the United States right now?” Ocasio-Cortez asked.

I don’t think that, but I’m not a moron.

“The fact that people are at a level of economic desperation that the have not seen since the great recession?” Ocasio-Cortez pondered.

There was no similar spike in violent crime during the great recession, so that’s another “no.”

“Maybe this has to do with the fact that people aren’t paying their rent and are scared to pay their rent and so they go out and they need to feed their child and they don’t have money so…they’re put in a position where they feel like they either need to shoplift some bread or go hungry,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

The thing is, petty theft is down 7.5% in NYC this year. And, according to NBC New York, shootings and murders are way the hell up:

NYPD statistics show a dramatic increase in homicides and shootings in the first six months of 2020 compared to the same period of time last year.

According to the NYPD, 178 homicides were reported in New York City so far this year. The statistics include information through June 30. This is a 21 percent increase from the number homicides reported during the same time last year when the city saw 147 homicides.

Shootings have also seen a significant spike.

The city has seen 528 shooting incidents and 636 shooting victims this year through June 30. This translates to a 46 percent increase in incidents and a 53 percent increase in shooting victims compared to the same time last year when the city reported 362 incidents and 415 victims.

How does people shoplifting bread to feed their children result in shooting and murder increases like that? The reality is, if someone were caught stealing a loaf of bread in NYC, they wouldn’t even be arrested so the bread-theft numbers wouldn’t be reflected in crime statistics and certainly not violent crime statistics.

Maybe bread is the new crack or Air Jordans in that black people are shooting each other over it. They be pumping suckas full of lead for dat pumpernickel bread. If only we had AOC’s socialism and breadlines to avoid all of this unnecessary bread-related violence.

I can’t actually find any proof that the spike in violent crime in NYC is connected to the illegal bread street trade, so I’m going to go with the theory that AOC is an idiot.
