i know i don't have the answers to this level of despair, but i wonder if these soldiers need to be placed into an inpatient-like caring facility upon return home. i'm not sure of the exit strategies being used re: their mental health and family reunification, economic needs, etc, but 30 deaths is far from any coincidence. something is dire.
