I think you're probably right. He was a smokescreen and a puppet. His "papers" were likely codes which delivered esoteric truths about our reality for cult members to appreciate. So while the rest of us were just confused by the bamboozle and assumed we weren't smart enough to understand, he was really just telegraphing ancient universal truths handed down through the satanic secret societies, with a view to controlling and ultimately destroying us. Buddha probably told us even more about quantum physics than Hawking ever did.
