My midwestern liberal college town was early to issue a stay at home "order" and has also implemented a "mask ordinance" (after weeks of being open and allowing BLM protests). Nonetheless "cases" of the virus continue to "spike" (surprise!)

I think the masks and the continued propaganda to remind us of the "pandemic" (politically motivated fear campaign) will backfire catastrophically on this city. Our mask "order" is in effect for 90 days from 7/10/20 at 5pm. This puts us solidly into October before the "order" is rescinded.

I can just imagine all the out of town football fans coming to the stadium here and being required to "mask up" for the game. Oh the fun. Maybe the University here will offer team logo "Covid Covers" (masks) for game day! The masks should come preloaded with ketchup, mustard, and beer stains so that fans trying to remember when to don and doff their "Covid Cover" TM team merchandise will not get embarrassed by the inevitable gaffes. After all, people from Republican enclaves (normal suburbs and small towns) will have little familiarity with the required genuflecting to the "spirit of COVID-19".

On the bright side, the out of towners will bring much needed revenue to our soon-to-be cash starved "progressive" city. In Democrat controlled districts normal rules of economics do not apply. Encouraging small business growth, family formation and the like are nonsense of course. The "democratic socialist" (communist) survives on pandering and professional political posturing while being fed from government coffers filled by the actions of those ignorant people who work for a living.

I don't have my copy, as I loaned it out. But in Judy Mikovits' new book called Plague of Corruption she quotes one of her mentors as calling Anthony Fauci one member of an "unholy trinity". The other two were Francis Collins and Harold Varmus. (The quote is on page 41 for anons that may have a copy of the book)

We need to have term limits on many government posts if we don't just outright eliminate them. Fauci has been in government for decades and he has been accused of seriously bad actions. It should be immediately investigated how "gain of function" research on viruses was apparently "banned" here in the US but continued with US funding in China at the Wuhan lab apparently involved in the release of SARS Cov-2. I'm not sure if Fauci was personally responsible for moving it there but between him and his wife, I'd be asking A LOT of questions.

I think at this point, that people should stop getting tested. If you are younger and are "positive" but asymptomatic you are unlikely to spread it by casual contact. If you are sick with ANYTHING, just stay home until well, please.

The testing is totally "jacked up" in my opinion. Why "the heck" do we need swabs jammed into our nasal passages? Isn't this likely to cause problems? Couldn't swabs be contaminated?

The testing needs to stop. This is now nothing but a political hoax.

If spreading viruses is bad, why do we allow people to behaviors that spread AIDS? Freedom? In that case, why is the right to commit what used to be called "indecent acts" more important that the right to attend school, shop, visit elderly loved ones, go to the park with your children, etc? What would happen if it was suggested to mandate condom use or quarantining people with HIV viral loads above a certain level, with contact tracing if a person is HIV positive? Should be obvious from this paragraph what kind of people are running the "Democrat socialist" playbook.

Christian and other conservative Americans held hostage, undergoing contact tracing and possibly even losing custody of children for carrying the "cold virus". Democrat socialist, fascist, child abusers get to spread HIV with impunity 'cause muh freedom.
