The Spanish Painter Francisco Goya did a lot of portrait work, but he also painted some very creepy things. A few titles: Cannibals, Cannibals Chopping Up Victim and Saturn Devours His Son. I spent a bit of time looking at the pictures on the wikipedia page for Goya's art work, and there were a good number of paintings with really shocking things.
I wonder if President Trump was trying to hint at some of the things being exposed via his tweet about Goya Foods? Besides just giving favorable press to a good company.
