Militant Detained in Syria Claims He Underwent Training Supervised by US Instructors

Earlier it was reported that three Mahavir as-Saura militants had been detained and taken to the Syrian city of Tadmore near Palmyra after they found themselves in a minefield.

One of the three militants detained near the city of Palmyra in western Syria told reporters that he had been trained under the supervision of US instructors.

A militant, identified as Abdullah al-Mishuat, said that he and his counterparts were taught how to handle different types of weapons by American instructors who would come to training sessions to "observe from afar, monitor and evaluate the training process". The exercises, however, were conducted by Syrians, according to the militant.

"We were taught to handle all types of weapons by American instructors. All of the weapons were US-made. I saw American instructors who come to training, however, those are conducted by Syrians. Americans observe from afar, monitor and evaluate the training process. The training were [sic] difficult, they lasted for two or three hours, no less," the detained militant told reporters.

Although the group stated that they trained with US-made weapons, they also claimed to have been sent on the mission with Russian guns, according to al-Mishuat.

One detained militant, Jasem al-Ali, said that where their leader died after a group of eight found themselves in a minefield. He revealed that the group was tasked with gathering information about Russian, Iranian and Syrian assets.

"Our group consisted of eight people: seven fighters and one leader who is engaged in smuggling and transporting personnel and drugs. We went on motorcycles to complete the mission and hit the minefield. We got lost and did not know where to go, because the leader died, and began to look for a way out, while continuing to move. Then we were captured, and the Syrian troops took us here. We were sent to carry out tasks in the province of Rakka, in the city of Al Mansoura. We had to get information about Russian, Iranian and Syrian sites", he said.

All three detainees are currently in custody in the city of Tadmor. Syrian soldiers found that the militants carried guns, grenades, a large amount of ammunition, money and unidentified drugs.

Syria has been in a state of civil war since 2011, with government forces fighting against numerous armed opposition groups and militant and terrorist organizations. Russia, along with Turkey and Iran, is a guarantor of the ceasefire regime in Syria.

Cuomo: Trump ‘COVID Scandal’ Makes ‘Watergate Look Innocent’ – ‘Trump Was Wrong from Day One’

During a press conference on Monday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) stated that President Trump’s “COVID scandal makes what Nixon did at Watergate look innocent.” And that the facts show that “Trump was wrong from day one and New Yorkers have been right from day one.”

Cuomo said the federal government has “been denying the reality of the situation from the beginning. It doesn’t exist. It’s going to go away, by Easter we’ll reopen, when it gets warm it will go away like it’s a miracle. It didn’t go away. There was no miracle. You denied reality. This is their political agenda over public health policy. That’s what this is.”

Cuomo added that the federal government “got offended when the states asked for any resources or help from the federal government. If they’re not going to step up and address a problem that helps every — that hurts every state in the United States. Then what is the point of the federal government?”

He continued, “And now the president is attacking science. What a surprise. No surprise. He’s been attacking science from day one.”

He further stated, “Trump’s COVID scandal makes what Nixon did at Watergate look innocent. Nobody died in the Watergate scandal. Thousands of people are going to die in this COVID scandal and that is all the difference in the world. You look at the facts, the facts clearly demonstrate Trump was wrong from day one and New Yorkers have been right from day one. There’s no argument. There’s nothing to tweet about. The facts are in. The numbers are in. Look at the number of bodies. Look at the infection rate. New York’s numbers have declined while the nation is going up.”

What is the real purpose of the Lockdowns?

From masks to lockdowns to “social distancing”, do these anti-Covid measures serve another purpose?

If given the choice between maintaining a toxic world of fear, pollution and violence controlled by the State or a society of prosperity and compassion based on freedom and individual rights, there is little doubt that the majority of Americans would want the old paradigm of synthetic events to take a hike; except that choice has been distorted under the guise of what the World Health Organization (WHO) has mislabeled the most deadly virus in history.

The coronavirus crisis arrived in a flash with little time to analyze exactly WTF was going on. Americans struggled to process what is real, trustworthy and authentic as the unraveling of deep political decay revealed a behind-the-scenes subterranean power struggle that has surfaced with the intent on disintegration of American Society.

While the country is fast approaching an existential crisis on steroids, millions experienced an inner knowing that some indefinable thing was not right with recognition that the early explanations were hogwash while others, addicted to mainstream/social media who still believed in the illusion of democracy, were on board with the litany of spin from the medical and political establishment.

While the Lockdown could have been a wake up call for humanity to change its consciousness with a paradigm shift – whether it be a spiritual awakening, a political realignment or re-evaluating one’s own personal health choices, since, after all, humanity was locked in a major health crisis. And most importantly, it was an opportunity to acknowledge that the planet itself is ailing from abuse and neglect with CV as a metaphor urging a personal reconnection with Nature.

In early 2020, Neil Ferguson of the UK’s Imperial College used a scare tactic to predict that 80% of Americans would be infected and that there would be 2.2 million American deaths – neither of which materialized. Yet Ferguson’s extremism accomplished its intended purpose in establishing the basis for draconian Lockdown requirements. Ferguson later retracted his earlier prediction down to 20,000 fatalities.

With current infection fatality rate at 0.20%, Lockdowns have been devoid of science and are based on arbitrary, contradictory and inconsistent requirements.

Just a few examples come to mind, such as liquor stores and big chains are considered ‘essential’ and remain open but stand-alone, independent, mom ‘n pops are not. Barbers may be open but hair salons may not. While it is advised to get tested for Covid19, a colonoscopy or other elective surgery are not allowed. While vitamins C and D and Sunshine strengthen the immune system, all outdoor sport programs have been canceled.

Mark Kelly Pushing More Background Checks, Gun Seizures in Arizona

Democrat Sen. challenger Mark Kelly is campaigning on background checks and gun seizures as he tries to unseat pro-Second Amendment Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ).

Kelly’s wife, Gabby Giffords, was shot by an attacker in Tucson on January 8, 2011. That attacker acquired his gun via a background check, yet Kelly is campaigning to expand the point-of-sale opportunities to conduct background checks, with his campaign website suggesting such checks “keep kids and communities safer.”

Again, his wife’s attacker passed a background check for his gun, as has nearly every mass shooter of recent memory.

Where is the safety background checks are supposed to deliver?

Kelly is also campaigning on gun seizures. The campaign website states that he plans to “reduce mass shootings and suicides by allowing families and law enforcement to ensure dangerous individuals and people in crisis don’t have access to firearms.”

Another aspect of his platform would result in the forfeiture of Second Amendment rights for persons fitting certain categories.

This marks a stunning departure from Arizona’s proud pro-Second Amendment tradition. Just last year, Guns & Ammo magazine listed Arizona as the most gun-friendly state in the Union.
