No offense taken. I break from the board much moar these days. Probably because I'm still trying to catch up on real life after the last few years of trying to help, here.
>Ps I’m glad you garden.
Can I tell you a secret?
I don't even like most of the vegetables we grow.
But my family has had a garden all my life, and I've helped since I was a kid.
Became "tradition" once my grandfather started growing fruits and veggies of his own. Even though I'm pretty sure most of the fruits he grew were mainly used for making brandy and such.
I was amazed to find out that his father (my great grandfather) was an electrical engineer when he still lived back in the old country. He had to give up his career when he fled to the United States, and basically became a janitor, to provide for his family. Mainly because he didn't speak English well. So, it was just find something that keeps food on the table...
Perhaps that's where the gardening tradition began? Rhetorical question now.
But Nature has been my best of friend for the majority of my life, and no amount of technology will ever change that. Direct connection to the Divine ; )
