Possible explanation for the Melania mask tweet. If an election is held, we must win. One key aspect of the President's campaign being the fantastic rallies. The slime are already shrieking about the rallies being corona spreaders. Never mind the insanity of them simultaneously praising the rioting, unmasked traitors.
Many of the places he wishes to campaign have (illegal) mask orders. The campaign may be angling to have the rallies, with attendees wearing masks, to (partially) defuse the left screaming, while continuing the rallies. This may also prevent the entry bottlenecks. I note that the NH rally was postponed on weak pretext-so the masks may have been decided upon as a temporary & necessary evil. If it actually comes to the point that our people feel compelled to both wear masks and utilize distancing at rallies, the remaining ones can be held outdoors in good weather, with spacing but even more attendees.
The President & Team can not possibly believe that they are needed or effective. But we all know that the villains are already stroking up covid II, and all of the projections may show that we need the rallies, and it may be impossible to hold them without conceding to the masks.
At the same time, it is a reach out to those citizens, both normie and conservative, who are wearing the masks because their circumstance gives them no choice. Also at the same time, the President's Team may have come to the conclusion that hardly any of PDJT's supporters are ignorant enough to needlessly wear a mask in most circumstances, so the tweet will not really affect them. Plus, the true, unreachable tards don't read Melania's tweets, and even if they did, would not be inclined to credit the mask recommendation, when they are wearing them anyway. So in this sense, we get ahead of the mask curve, while somewhat depriving the enemy of their masks vs. POTUS talking point.
Am not criticizing the decision, and of course not criticizing Melania. While it is possible that she did it on her own, it is unlikely. This was a team decision. Will admit that the team always possesses far better intel than us, and unknown factors may have been decisive in this particular decision.
Having said these things, will also say that from my level of understanding, and from my angle of observation, that it is a mistake to say masks are okay, and even promote them for what is thought to be a reasonable/necessary purpose, while certainly being aware of their unhealthful effects, as well as what it means from a social/psychological aspect. To this anon, the truth can not be evaded, nor should it be. The truth means everything to me, and many others, and we will continue to speak it, come what may.
