my church is closed and has a BLM banner at the top of their web page.
priest said if I got a note from doc saying I have health problems around the mask… Since I told them it was discrimination against someone with a physical handicap, if I couldn't go there without a mask… (they are holding outside services for limited number of parishioners - but you have to wear a mask and social distance) Well, they would just might have to close the Church entirely, they said. - all the other Churches in our group are closed still anyway? It was their right.
To avoid a discrimination suit?
I believe they feel superior to Trump-supporting Christians. In fact one member told me they feel closer to Muslims and Jews - when I suggested a round table with other Christians …to have a conversation, with people who were "not like ourselves." to bridge the gap.
The are all -about inclusiveness - just not with other Christians who they don't agree with politically..
Weird they would ally with people who are burning up Churches. That could be mentioned.
Ironically that Church and I were / are meant for each other. kek
