^F 'coin shortage' yields no hits.

 

So, two convenience stores I went to today had signs up declaring a coin shortage, and please use exact change or use your credit card. The second of which, it was an official looking thing with the stamp of the state of Washington, stating it was a national coin shortage.

 

Are they trying to implement a cashless mark of the beast through sheer volume of shenanigans? What is going on, fellow anons?
