The half catalogs load much faster and have short OP summaries which helps in that regard.

Imo it's mostly:

#1: Half moar established as the go-to site for info (albeit needle in a haystack) and always crowded

#2: Half is decentralized compared to here - moar single-topic breads allowing you to cut to the chase and skip stuff you dgaf about
