Yes….Nothing is ever erased. Not totally sure about DM's but they could possibly "become available to the public" if the right hackers accidentally dropped them "somewhere" on the web.

They did on wayfair. They did on starwars video game chat. They used gmail account and "saved emails" instead of sending thinking they could mitigate surveillance. GM wrapped here cell phone in tin-foil. They have a history of doing things right in front of us. They have a history of being stupid.
