I went in search of a direct link to this chart and here is what I found instead. Texas DSHS had debunked it.

The chart is made to look like an official product of the Texas DSHS, and it is not. As they said, it is using data collected in different ways over different periods of time. Look, I have been trying to tell people all along that the response to Covid is not warranted by the numbers, but we need to use valid data to prove it, not misleadingly compiled data, and certainly not fraudulently presented data. Which this is, by the unauthorized us of Texas DSHS logo.
