The notion that bitcoin wallets are anonymous is simply laughable. Au contraire, all transactions are stored on a public ledger and even though the addresses are pseudonymous, dedicated intelligence can link them to IP addresses and people as well. Mixer services offer an additional layer of protection, but it is by no means absolute.
I was only referring to the purported anonymity of bitcoin wallets. And Apple has nothing to do with bitcoin. So, not sure what you're getting at?

The reports state that an attacker broke the account security of a twatter employee with access to twatter's internal administration panel. All those high profile twatter accounts were then, from this hacked twatter admin account, taken over through twatter's own (legitimate) administrative functions. It simply didn't matter that those high profile accounts had two factor authentication and other security gimmicks installed.
It was the equivalent of someone hacking the root account on a unix machine and then using the root privilege to take over all other user accounts on that box.
Yeah. There's the case of a small manufacturer of chocolate-covered marshmallows in a certain small non-EU republic in Europe. The product bears name "Mohrenkopf" (moor's head), as those kinds of sweets were traditionally called wide and far in German speaking parts of Europe.
A woke mob started terrorizing the manufacturer, demanding that he change the name asap, because "Mohrenkopf" was deemed racist. The manufacturer refused. So, the woke mob started terrorizing one of the wholesale distributors of said product, which promptly caved to the mob's demands and removed the product from their stores.
Direct sales, straight from the manufacturer's outlet, are going through the roof ever since.
>Do you really believe Jack Dorsey
No.
But I have background in ITSEC and that's how those things usually are done - Social Engineering is the most effective and devastating tool an attacker has at her disposal.
