I have been noticing local radio talk show hosts in my area are often doing segments in concert with the day's current 8kun topics
you can tell they've been lurking
I often doubt my stance on the mask thing too. I haven' worn one except once, when I quickly realized it was like putting a paper bag over my head and tying it off around my neck. in other words - excruciatingly uncomfortable and questionably useful.
Oh, and definitely de-humanizing.
If I was to walk into a hospital I might put one on. If I was told that we are in danger from surveillance (as if it's not already too late for that), if I was told that [they] are actively running around trying to infect people who have bare faces, if pretty cloth masks actually worked against a real aerosol virus….then I would wear one.
but I haven't heard any such facts from anyone.
So I say my prayers, take care of myself, keep my distance (6feet!) wash my hands and carry on, showing my beautiful bare smile wherever I go.
