Are some disposable masks made from toxic materials?
I want to share my experience. I was forced to buy a mask. Bought a disposable one from CVS. They were only selling single ones for $2 each instead of a box of them. So it was in the individual plastic wrap that doesn't have any information about the product other than how to wear it. Not able to see the box these come in so don't know if there is more product info on the box.
I eat clean and use clean products so over time I've developed a sensitivity to anything toxic. I was perfectly healthy with no symptoms of any kind prior to wearing the mask.
After wearing the mask for 1-2 hours I came home with a slight headache, sore throat, my rib cage area was achy when breathing and my lips were tingly like when eating hot sauce. Had to wear another time and had similar results.
So are some of these masks toxic?? Now I use a 100% cotton bandana when forced to cover face.
