Logic dictates it can’t be debunked until it’s been investigated.
Last time I checked, “ journalists” don’t have authority to do the kind of investigation required, much less it be thoroughly debunked within a couple days of the news breaking.

Would they try a fake assassination? Or kill a double? Possibly, if they’re that stupid. It would have to be their absolute last playing card. I mean, what good is it if Trump just reappears on people’s’ streams? If confusion and doubt are what they have left to play, I guess they’d do it. It’s be their last move though. No one would trust them again, and/or trust that whoever shows up after isn’t the actual double. It’d be one hell of a chaotic move.
