Princess Beatrice married her fiance Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a scaled down ceremony at Windsor Castle today.
The couple cancelled their original plans of a lavish ceremony at Buckingham Gardens in May due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Around 20 people were reportedly in attendance at the intimate nuptials including the queen, Prince Philip, and Beatrice's parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, the Duchess of York.
Princess Beatrice is now a bride.
On Friday, the princess, 31, married property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 37, in an extremely scaled down ceremony at All Saints Chapel in Windsor Great Park. Per People, about 20 guests were in attendance to witness the nuptials including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and Beatrice's parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah, the Duchess of York.
"The private wedding ceremony of Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi took place at 11am on Friday 17th July at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor," read an official statement from Buckingham Palace. "The small ceremony was attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant Government Guidelines."
The couple were originally set to marry with a much larger ceremony at Chapel Royal at St James Palace in London back in May, but had to cancel their original plans due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Mapelli Mozzi was engaged to marry American architect Dara Huang until they broke up in 2018. They have a son, Christopher, born in 2016.[20] In 2018, after his breakup with Huang, Mapelli Mozzi started a relationship with Princess Beatrice of York, whom he had known since childhood. His family have been close friends with her parents, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah, Duchess of York, for decades.[20] Following his proposal in Italy,[21][22] the couple's engagement was announced on 26 September 2019.[23] Mapelli Mozzi was reported to have designed the engagement ring himself, along with British jeweller Shaun Leane.[24] They intended to marry at the Chapel Royal of St James's Palace on 29 May 2020 but postponed their nuptials in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.[25][26] A private wedding took place at the Royal Chapel of All Saints on 17 July 2020, in front of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and other immediate family members of both sides.[27]
