Judiciary Committee Declassifies Docs Proving FBI Illegally Spied on Candidate Trump
The Judiciary Committee has released a dump of declassified documents that detail early stages of investigation into the “Steele Dossier.” The documents paint a very different picture from what Rep. Adam Schiff and his Democrat colleagues presented to the country for 4 years. Memos prove the FBI was well informed about how untrustworthy the evidence was.
The centerpiece is a 57-page document that summarizes an interview with Christopher Steele’s own source. It shows Steele’s critical source was truly a contract employee of his own firm. It also shows the evidence that was submitted was merely third-hand hearsay. Most importantly it shows the critical subsource didn’t even believe what he was repeating to Steele and was surprised to see it in the dossier.
Next, a document of Peter Strzok’s own comments reaction to a New York Times article of alleged Russian ties to the Trump campaign. The document shows that Strzok himself was fully aware of the problems with the dossier yet continued to drive the investigation forward. The FISA warrant spying on candidate Donald Trump morphed into illegal spying on President Donald Trump as time went on.
Peter Strzok was the lead FBI investigator in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation that focused efforts around Donald Trump. The paper trail proves an illegal and subversive effort was taken by the Obama DOJ to destroy the President before he took office. Strzok’s own words describe the plot as an insurance policy, should Trump win the Presidency.
The document proves the FBI was using illicit techniques and foreign assets, all funded by campaign money, to smear a political opponent. It raises questions on why the investigation carried on throughout the summer and how it could have been authorized for so long. The initial FISA application was renewed an additional three times, signed by Chief Justice John Roberts.
