I'm not even convinced it's much of a killer. How hard would it be to run an op like that by fabricating early deaths (perhaps real, but as a result of other diseases), create panic, start expanding testing for a disease that might have a very low chance of killing you (but their treatment will), enable the test to register false positives, etc… we all have enough of an imagination at this point to envision the scam. Suddenly it's no longer a death sentence. Are the "improved drugs" saving lives or is no longer administering death-poison as treatment saving lives?
