Facebook is International and records it. It's kept safe somewhere.

If you're in your front yard, there might not be a permanent record kept?

Much less privacy on FB

In my own back or front yard the number of people I would imagine would listen [unless one had a recording devise] is a limited and small number.

On FB the audience is potentially in the millions?

Actually there is an expectation of greater privacy in an unfenced front yard, than on FB

I can see who is watching me there, most likely.

I can speak to whom I wish and know that the message, whatever I say, doesn't really have any feet.

Whatever his name is was correct: People should not have had an expectation of privacy on Facebook. That's why he called them "dumb fucks" ?

There's no limit on who could see what you put on FB, how it could be used, where it would end up. And you're in a blind, since you don't know what they are doing with it or how they are organizing it.

You know it's free and they are doing all that work for free?

They will give you a copy of your files though. A download.

In your front yard you can see whose there and who's watching. And it's limited.
