In WW2 the allied Australian and New Zealand forces had a special ops group collectively called the Coast Watchers. These were the guys instrumental in rescuing John F. Kennedy after the battle that left him stranded. A sub-group of the Coast Watchers was a somewhat famous clandestine unit called "Z Special Unit."
JFK Jr. wore the Z Special insignia as a tattoo.
