This Anon's sick theory is that if 3gorges fails, ChYna will do something stupid, again, to reach out and pull the Western world into the swimming pool along with ChYna as it trips over the coping.
As with Cov19, the CCP will strike indirectly, with a veneer of excusability which the MSM will be quick to promote. Don't expect a missile barrage arcing its way to California; that would earn a disproportionate military response. However, don't count out missiles, entirely.
In 2007, ChYna sent a missile into orbit to destroy its own Fengyun-1C weather satellite: and it was a huge success, obliterating the derelict satellite and spreading a debris cloud that threatened other satellites and the ISS.

If ChYna is about to suffer a catastrophe, don't put it past them to pull a stunt like this again, but on a larger scale. They simply can't bear the thought of losing their gains of the past two decades while watching the rest of the world thrive; all the while suffering the severe consequences of what will be the greatest and deadliest civil engineering disaster in history.
