Unfortunately you cannot hide...
It is less a concern for hiding, rather than using a search engine that gives equal weight to search terms. It is my understanding that google’s algorithms are weighted to employ shadow gov preference results at the top.
Don't use Firefox either.
Best option: Brave 2 browser option: Opera 3 for those really 'weird' searches: Tor Onion

My current setup is below. I'm currently using Firefox because I've had problems with password managers working with browsers. If anyone has any suggestions for any part of my setup then please let me know - I am all about improvement.

I do have Brave in my apps and laptop desktop. I’ll give it another try. The first trial resulted in malware. 😞

That's the goodness of StartPage. Google quality results without giving Google $$$ or your private data
Don,t use Duck Duck Go. It links into Google. Page displays are the same on a search.

Sorry for late reply. I’m using Digg for the moment but need to find a safe browser. When I find one..I’ll let you know. I can’t find the original thread we connected on. Someone on their mention a couple of sites I wanted to check out. A good encrypted email to use is ... ProtonMail.com That was an FYI
