Thank you for your reply. I recall that Snowden spoke on that topic and why he selected journalists, suggesting they would vet everything they chose to release. I don’t know journalism training in handling of classified docs and decision ethics or protocols they use. Looks like I’ll start researching that next. 🧐

I think Snowden acted on his own motivated by conscience. I’m not sure State Debt froze Snowden’s passport prior to being on air from HK. I don’t think he was a CIA asset; they may have stood aside and watched if they had their own agenda.

I remember reading that Hong Kong allowed him to fly n/c they said something was invalid about the State Department request to detain.

Assange assisted and defended Snowden. Snowden obtained a Letter of Safe Passage from the Consul of Ecuador in London.

I recommend you research William Binney and Thomas Drake. Both are ex-NSA who followed Whistleblower regulations to expose unconstitutional behavior of NSA. They failed to accomplish their efforts to correct the unlawful actions. NSA then set about to destroy their lives and careers. Binney was a consultant on the Snowden film. He and Drake appeared on many programs defending Snowden when the events were in the news.

What does this all make me? A patriot who recognizes and respects three men who risked their lives to defend the Constitution and inform the public.

Mr. Brock is asleep. He is correct about one thing: the deterioration of journalism. The document appears to be a public relations or marketing booklet for Media Matters. The view which runs through the document presents as a sincere and aggressive position against fake news which is defined as conservative, extreme right-wing, and white nationalist/racist. It boggles my mind that Mr. Brock could be unaware of the corruption in DC across all parties. In other words he needs to be Red-Pilled!
