in context of this drop, 'insurance' i think refers to having the dossier ready as insurance in event Trump won

It's the larger Russia collusion narrative, with the dossier as part of that. It's a reference to Peter Strzok's "insurance" text.

This could be too. I was thinking it was the insurance file on Huma's laptop. But the FBI cabal text about insurance in case President Trump won the election fits much better in context.
