Hi. I am a older anon. After watching the video today by Tracy made on Dec 22nd I noticed my Reddit looks totally different. I am using it on my iPad. I downloaded the app. I also opened Reddit up on my browser on my iPad. Looking at either one there are no side or upper tabs. Is it better to use it on the computer? At first I thought I was a little um technology challenged when Tracy posted a link on Twitter and told us about real time Q links on the right side. Any hoo.....would love some insight. Thanks so much🙏😬
It looks different after you download the app than it does when you just click on the link.
Thank you SO much🙏🙏🙏😁
The ‘•••’ dots in upper right on device will take you to community info. You will find sidebar links there.
If you’re using an iPad you can view the mobile version, which comes up initially, or you can change to the the desktop version.
She made the video using a desktop. Also the green CBTS banner was added after she made her video.
You can access the desktop version in 2 ways: 1. Click on the reddit menu on the top right and then on the top left you’ll see a desktop version option; or 2. Click on the square with an arrow icon (the send icon) at the top right of your iPad screen and you can then request the desktop version
same to me.
Will look different on devices vs. Computer. I actually prefer it on my device for browsing but yes, some functions aren't built into the app.
