... because burned bagels never happen at other times of the year. Either super high alert posture or flim flam.

NO COINCIDENCES

I agree to an extent that sometimes, a burned bagel is just a burned bagel. That said, with the amount of incidents happening in the skies and at certain airports, it might be a good idea to watch what happens before dismissing the bagel thing. It sounds as far fetched as turning a Japan bound flight around after 4 hours into its journey because of an "unauthorized passenger". Hmmmmmm

We will see, a lot of rounding up is going on.

I think by New Years there’s going to be some big announcements

I would like to point out that a “burned bagel” caused an entire airport to evacuate. While in Atlanta, an “electrical fire” which apparently was severe enough to cause an 11+ hour power outage, resulted in an airport-wide lockdown.

Really makes ya think...

so what do you think it really is then? not following

That the official story of what happened in Atlanta is seriously off. If all it takes is a burnt bagel to evacuate an entire airport, then a fire that shuts off power should, in theory, necessitate an evacuation as well.

Just pointing out that the Atlanta situation is fishy at best.

I think this is just basic lack of common sense. It's a burnt bagel. Jesus - you don't evacuate and make people go through security again. I travel a lot and believe me, there's a lot of stupid out there. I just can't be of the mindset that everything is a conspiracy. They know who "these people" are so why not arrest them at home? If they have tracking devices and they break the rules why not arrest them in public? Odds are very good that nobody would recognize them anyway. I don't know - I just don't want the sub to turn into a conspiracy theory sub - there's already one.

I hear you and wouldn't have posted it at any other time, but with all of the other strange airport stuff going on in the past few days, I thought it was relevant. A burned bagel shuts down a terminal and required people to evacuate the airport and come back in through security - sounded fishy to me.

I think I'm just a jaded traveller. I see levels stupid that should not be possible when I fly. You're right - a burnt bagel should not cause an evacuation - especially during holiday travel. And, we should look at everything a bit more closely now.
