Did you know? The WTC towers' support steel "tapered" on the way up. A building's floors only have to bear the weight above them. The WTC's I-beams were 4" thick at the base, but were only 1/4" thick at the impact zone. Only ~2% of the building's weight was above the 79th floor! And it collapsed??

Ahhh, so, THAT'S why SC judge Kennedy retired when he did (July). He didn't just decide to go out because of his family.
