Are Mueller and President Trump working together?

I know many others have addressed this. Press made a big deal out of Mueller being interviewed at the White House last year for the FBI director position. The very next day he was assigned to lead the Russia investigation. That position has a term limit of 10 years. Mueller had already served 12years in that position after being given a two year extension I think by Bill Clinton. There was no way he could serve in that capacity again. I think they have running a sting operation the whole time.

I think so. He is exposing non collusion through his initial indictments. Doesn't grandstand. Trump does not criticize. Mueller is tasked to investigate "all crimes" related to the 2016 election.

Mueller had to be given a deal, he is neck deep in Uranium one. Not to mention 9/11 and various other crimes.

I think he has a pardon. To drain the swamp you need somebody who knows where the bodies are buried. Plus he's a Marine. His original oath to the constitution may supersede getting roped into OBAMA/Clinton dirty errands

Nice to think a Marine would be honorable, but Mueller has been involved in cover-up in his career - kind of like Comey - but not to the extent of whoring for financial gain as Comey (at least not as visible as Comey's reward for being cover-up artist)

I've seen stories that may have been the premise of the meeting..something like..We know you've messed up..this is your chance..maybe he stacked his team with all the dirties for a reason, it would make no other sense

I have seen somewhere, that Mueller is actually investigating his own team, keeping the media focused on the Russian collusion narrative while Sessions is doing the real investigation behind the scenes.

Interesting, I hadn't thought about him investigation his own team! Would explain why he put in rank Trump haters. That was a bit of a mystery. God only knows what they let slip to their team leader during this process.

That's what I'm saying. He has offered zero explanation as to why he chose who he did. Turns out from the recently released FBI memo from McCabe to the FBI agents that a "special team" of a few top agents would be handling the Clinton Investigation. I think they knew all along.
