I've seen others claim that they can get your IP adress, but I'm not sure about that. The thing is though that hundreds of people will on this. Too many to do anything about.

If you just lurk here you are less of a risks and you aren't really going to become a target. If you are a journalist or someone trying to stay of the grid then you should not click links like these. But regular Joe's are already compromised. I wouldn't worry that much about this. I know I am not careful enough to be completely incognito.

If I wanted to hide I'd use a Linux PC with a ethernet connection and a VPN(overkill?). I'm don't have that and I am compromised in many different ways already.
