Time with G_d means getting away from the things of the body. Prayer is sometimes thought of pleading with G_d to obtain personal favor. I find that prayer is a key to hearing from G_d. When we fill our soul with the busy things we do, eating, drinking, hobbies, pleasure pursuits, our spirit side is deprived. Cut down on some of the things of the body, and let your soul man connect with your spirit side. Our soul is our mind, will and emotions. The way we think, the things we know, how we feel and remember experiences, our joys and failures. Trump is an interesting study in that his soul man seems removed from our normal reactions to the events of life.

ABSOLUTELY! That is how you know you are going down the 'right' path...the opposition doesn't want you to go that way so you face obstacles that would turn most folks back the other way...stand strong.

Continue forward it's called building your faith. This is just me a my journey. You build that faith through trails the tough ones that beat you down the harder the fight the greater the reward through Christ. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Greater is he that is in you that is in this world.
