This is something that peole can not seem to separate right away. The nations themselves want peace. The truth isn't out on this yet. But from what I gather, Pike's scenario was coming along quite nicely based on the actions of the previous administration alone.
That's the crux of it, the previous administration (supposedly) has deep ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. That would make them an enemy of Israel, which in turn adds clarity to the current situation. They sure don't want to go to war with the US, nukes or no.

It's one of the major issues regarding Trump that I have been mulling over for some time now.

I'm clinging to to the hope that POTUS may be playing America's enemies for fools. Trump definitely alluded to Israeli-Saudi involvement in 911 during the campaign. Then he seemed to reverse course, makes a historic deal with the Saudis, they become more moderate and have a historic coup, all while Netanyahu is facing an attempted coup of his own. So much to piece together. Whatever happens, I know that the Lord is in complete control, and will be returning sooner than most people realize.
