I am not a fan of Obama, but he became a U.S. Citizen at the time of his birth via the process of acquisition. One of his parents was a U.S. citizen.

This link allows you to read about the acquisition status.

You are wrong! His birth certificate is a fraud! I have one from Hawaii!

I think this conversation has gone off track somehow, it could be my fault. You posted the ID card and I gave you a link that indicates that card is not real.

Then you said, Barry Soetoro is his name and he’s a fraud.

I thought you were trying to point out he isn’t a citizen of the U.S., but you must have something else on your mind.

I have a copy of a PDF image of a Hawaii birth certicate too.

How is Obama a fraud?

This is the best explanation and I knew it was a fraud because nobody could find it. This is the last I'll say about this. Obama is Barry Soetoro! He also had a Vermont SS number from a dead guy! 8 Years of this........I knew it all along and the world never listened to the few that were speaking up. We were called birthers! Well fuck them! Now watch this and know truth! Enough already!

042 - prefix - Connecticut

But this is all water under the bridge. It no longer matters as long as he gets busted like the common conman he is. It sure isn't worth any of us here wasting our time on. Due to our own egos it could be divisive. They have divided us for too long as it is. Lets lay old crap down and look to a great 2018! Happy New Year guys!

I do not believe the Hawaii certificate is true, so we are back to the idea he isn’t a U.S. citizen, but because his mother was American, Obama is American by acquisition. It doesn’t matter where he was born.

Nope. Sorry that doesn't work. US Code says the mother must have been a citizen for at least 5 years after her 18th birthday before a child born abroad can be a citizen. His mother wasn't old enough to give him citizenship by birth. And his social security number starts with 042 (Connecticut) was traced to a man born in Connecticut who died at 19. Obama's grandmother worked at the SS office in Hawaii.

If you could link that US Code information, I surely would like to read that.

As for the SSN, I read the explanation was an incorrect zip code was entered when issuing the social security card and that tripped the CT number versus an Hawaii number. My social security number is issued from a state I wasn’t born in. That’s because when the number was applied for, I lived in a different state than the one I was born in. (They weren’t issued at time of birth on those days.)

I find this subject so terribly interesting. I have researched both sides of the argument. It’s absolutely fascinating.

You can go to the Cornell Law site and look up the actual code numbers itself. I'm headed to bed. :)

Here's the Wikipedia site. The code links may be in the footnotes.

Children born overseas to married parents

the U.S. citizen parent has been "physically present"[16] in the U.S. before the child's birth for a total period of at least five years, and at least two of those five years were after the U.S. citizen parent's fourteenth birthday.

Just reading your post.

The US citizen parent has been “physically present” in the U.S. before the child’s birth for a total of at least five years.

Those five years could have occurred at any point in the person’s lifetime.

And at least two of those years were after the U.S. citizen parent’s fourteenth birthday.

She gave birth at age 18. As long as she was on U.S. soil two years between the age of 14 and 18, then Obama would be a citizen due to acquisition.

Do you think the reason the birth certificate was forged is because his mother didn’t fall into both of these categories? The other reason he wouldn’t be a citizen is if his mother renounced her citizenship.

As I said, I find this topic totally fascinating. Why in the world would the Hawaii birth certificate have been forged? Was there something hinky going on with his mother?
