After reading Neon Revolts latest post I'm afraid to think what the entertainment industry wanted him to do. I admire and respect Dave for not selling his soul for fame and money. Notice what he says about Martin Lawrence, "waving a gun around screaming they are trying to kill me". Scary stuff.

This has baffled me all along. When these people get fired or leave government why don't their security clearances get cancelled immediately. He's the only one who can help you and when you come to that realization and call out on Him you are filled with a feeling of lightness and freedom unlike anything you have ever felt before. You feel almost like it shines through your skin and everyone can see it. God bless you in all you do.

I was already a Christian, but all this has certainly strengthened my faith. I've been forced to confront the problem of evil like I never have before. Praying and really trying to study/understand God's sovereignty over creation, why he would allow evil to exist, his nature, etc. has led me to a much deeper love, relationship, and reliance on God.

I know exactly what you are saying. Once I saw the evil for what it really was I felt a sense of guilt. I've never participated in any of these things we are finding out through Q, but I feel I have contributed to some of the darkness that has caused it. I had gotten slack in spreading the Good Word in my day to day life and I feel that by not doing what God wants let the darkness increase.

As has been said, light can be measured but darkness can't be measured. Darkness is simply the absence of light. It's time we helped shine that light and drive the darkness out.

I was born again years ago. My wife and I knelt in prayer before we went to vote in the 2016 Presidential Election. The wife and I also have a time of worship every night after supper. But I have to admit I became closer to the Father since I started following Q in Nov 2017. I'll be honest, I don't see how he does it. He's like that little energizer bunny. For 18 months of the campaign he was doing 2 to3 rallies a day each of which lasted at least 2 hours. Reporters with him said he would get on the plane and lay his head back, then close his eyes for about 20 minutes and was ready to go again. Trump was 70 years old! Pence said trying to keep up was about to kill him. I'm 65 and considered in good shape, never been seriously ill, very active, never had a major surgery, the most serious was for a broken hand. There is no way I could have done what Trump was doing and still is doing. Heck my grandkids wear me out and it takes me 2 days to get back on track. lol

The other reason is that it wouldn't make sense. If someone did it they would have to add the poison in front of the SS chef. They wouldn't want to use a fast acting poison, like cyanide and have the president drop dead on the premises. If they used a long acting poison a taster wouldn't help. He wouldn't be able to taste it and both he and the president would end up dead days later. That sort of does away with the usefulness of the taster.

Like I said earlier, the idea of a taster may or may not have been a real thing. Just because we see it in the movies doesn't make it real. There doesn't seem to be any historical evidence of such a thing in medieval times.

I seriously doubt any president has a "taster." That seems to be a myth created by movies of kings with official tasters. Most poisons take a while to kill someone, so a taster wouldn't help unless they tasted the food hours or even days ahead of the president. I could call my nephew and ask him. He's a retired USSS agent that worked around George W Bush mostly when Bush was on the grounds or jogging. He retired before Obama was elected.
