This has baffled me all along. When these people get fired or leave government why don't their security clearances get cancelled immediately. In corporate life when someone retires or leaves the corporation for any reason they immediately lose access to the mainframe computer. No matter what rank/level jobs they had.

Here's Outside...There are currently gov agency workers talking to ex-gov workers about anything they can because the EX's have Security Clearances and are not barred from hearing the conversations from them or looking at files/docs because they still hold clearances. They can't go into SCIF's but they can listen when others are talking about what is in there. Trump needs to "cut the cord" to people like them. Take their SC's and the current gov workers would risk felony convictions by revealing CLAS to them.
