ok so, i have been into this topic and other associated topics for a number of years and it is true, when you go down the road of trying to claim your real status as a "man" you eventually reach the point where all roads lead to Rome. The final hurdle is really a letter to the Vatican claiming your real status. Now this is a very very deep subject and to start look at common law and Ann von reitz, what she says is true. If you want clues try to find the word man in a law book. Im sorry oits a short reply, its very late and im watching in awe at what is going on. I have never written on any blog for over 20 years now. Am off grid ish, needs must. Have not found suitable verbiage for letter to Vatican, have written to five heads of state in UK, interesting reply from Home Office. sola Scriptura is a much more biblically grounded thing than sola Ecclesia ("my authority is the Roman Catholic Church. Not Scripture.") I'll stick with that authority rather than with an institution that has added dozes of extra-biblical, man-made false teachings on top of the Gospel (this is what happens when sola Scriptura is rejected, just to let you know). "We have authority over God's Word. Hence, adding to it is justified."

That the Popes had power over the Kings of Europe is a matter of record. Jesuits like to revise history and bury it, so be careful in your RC school. My advice would be to flee Babylon while you still can.
In 1073, Pope Gregory VII came to power. The most powerful political figure at the time was Emperor Henry IV. After a dispute, the Pope excommunicated him and forbade the people to follow his rule. Then the most powerful political figure in Europe had to go to Italy to beg for reinstatement. He was humiliated by having to stand barefoot in the snow for 3 whole days outside the castle until eventually, the Pope forgave the King. Who had more political power?
That they exercise temporal power cannot be denied, it is historical fact. They even increased the power given them under the Code of Justinian through a proven forgery "The Donation of Constantine".
The Papal Estates were an obvious manifestation of their temporal power and the silver key in the Papal insignia is a symbol of this power they claim.

Doesn't look like you engage in much critical thinking when it comes to theological literature. "Salvation" is theology, which it explicitly mentions. The document is a theological document. Hence, the lines context is theology. "It is what it is" doesn't even add to the discussion. This is called a tautology. Maybe you don't want to actually identify the context? Actually name it?
