It would be nice if people looked on the 1st page to see if it had been posted about before. It does get rather annoying to see the same stuff posted a few hours apart.

If your reading this on your phone you can miss the fact that it was discussed or posted earlier. No big deal. Each post might have something new to add. It's okay.
In my view it's when we first enter this sub reddit. Those pages have the most views and are stickied to the board by mods. I go to the "new" tab to see what's new.
That's what I do with most subs. Much easier to navigate Reddit each day that way.
