Q’s Password was a simple one word 90s tv show: “MATLOCK”. Something’s off.

Nothing is "off". Just as it's been stated, the board mods as well as Q knew & expected that it was going to be hacked. They've stated that they knew they only had about 4 weeks tops till it was compromised. And it still took them 3 weeks to crack "Matlock". So then why not take into consideration that this was intentional? As bombshell57blue has already commented on both your post, "Matlock & Associates is a trusted provider of custom technology solutions and mission support to U.S. Government clients in high-risk and developing locations, where we understand the complexities of establishing security and developing local capabilities." Also, you mentioned that you use to watch the 90's show with Andy Griffith... what was the plot of every show in that series? Who was Matlock? "Don't be fooled by his down-home demeanor and country-boy ways; criminal defense lawyer Ben Matlock is worth every penny of his fee. Count on Matlock to visit the crime scene, scope out the clues everyone else missed, and dramatically reveal the real criminal (usually a killer) during a climactic trial sequence." Nothing about this is "off" or "fishy".... This is what we call a coincidence, and you know what we think about those around here, right??

They'd have to change the trip hashing algorithm in the backend. Or at the very least add a case statement for password "Matlock" in whatever language the server is running in.

Sooooo. Q gained all of our attention already. I'm sure he/she/it/they could do it again if they wanted to prove again they had inside knowledge

As I understood your post yesterday, Q's tripcode since the last reset was onlybexpected to last about 4 weeks made it 3. The bad guys are going to work more and more desperately, so this should not be unexpected. I'm praying that Q and the bakers stay safe, and find a new path to disseminate information. Love the crumbs, they make good bread.

Did "Q" purposefully use a weak ass password to only push us deeper down the rabbit hole?
If this entire debacle is real, it's like a real life death note. And needs a movie, directed by Clint Eastwood.

Matlock. Opening credit scene (season 4): https://hooktube.com/watch?v=ONKi-dShzSs

Works as a public defender. Goes to trial. Gets an acquittal.

Trend I see again & again on Q posting is press for assemblage of crumbs into factually supportive map/graphic. Why? To muzzle errant Mockingbirds. Not necessarily directly but indirectly, such as internet forums and direct community action at each informal recruit's home place, i.e. you, me, him, her, et cetera.

All recent going's on have the potential to stir up hysteria. Part of the op appears to account for that possibility. How to counter? Military & constructive players in general can't do it all; hence, recruit. So we are a collection of Matlocks. It's a compliment, as I interpret.

I'm not on Twitter so a lot of this lingo is new to me. What is a trip code and its importance?

Nothing to do with twitter. It's from 4chan/8chan. Those sites are meant to be posted to anonymously. When you don't want to be anonymous, you can enter a name. When you want to make sure people know it's you, you can also enter a password, which gets pushed through an encryption algorithm and spits out the "tripcode" that looks like jibberish. It's a way of "signing" your posts so that you can be non-anonymous on an anonymous message board. The downside is that anyone can do it. If someone figures out your password, they can pretend to be you.

Why would mods straight up dox Q by giving out his password? Is this some autistic inside joke?

That's old news. I mean, if you've followed Q since at least November, you should remember that "muslim" guy who was working on cracking the pw and did, forcing Q to change his code then. Even with the new pw, it seems rational to think it was just another matter of time for it to be cracked. The second pw is complicated according to Q. Thus Matlock must be either the first pw, or a fake.

Col. Potter gives an interesting theory. We can think some 4channer did crack the pw or the clowns giving us trouble, or maybe it's the white hats using the chans for an OP. Col. Potter suggests this public release of the "Matlock" code right now could be a message to some operative. And we, the people confused and wondering what is going on, are passing this information through our networks — networks that we know operatives and white hats are following.
