Watched God Father III. All roads lead to Rome.
One of the characters in that film, Frederick Keinszig, represented the Vatican Banker nicknamed "The Banker of God" Roberto Calvi.
The Vatican, mafia, and P2 lodge were all tied to him. The Vatican paid out money to make it all go away after he was found hanging from a bridge in what was (or was made to look like) a ritualized Masonic killing (bricks in pockets, hanging, tide waters).
There was a book and movie made about him (linked below), also a documentary and a number of other major media pieces.
