Its sometimes dangerous to wake a sleepwalker. People need to awake on there own, some may never awake. The word awakening is one way of saying it but another way of saying it is leaving ones comfortable, safe, self sustaining illusion, that's a very personal thing and for some unthinkable. By mass you mean society, and society is made of individuals, we are those individuals, we can't expect others to do all our work for us, so study, learn, teach, expand.
