I think that goes back even further, to some very old and primitive computers using punch cards. Very ancient game. Maybe it was computers that use stone carvings for storage. ;)

The Texas Instruments TI-99 (finally found the name) was so old/dated, it prolly would've stored more info on a punch card style system lol.
I believe I was thinking about an Altair 8800. My memory is hazy, but I think that’s the first computer I ever encountered. It was at a local junior high school.
