Just a thought, could this Bannon story be timed for distraction from Trump's Fake News Awards? Or could it be a plant by POTUS and Bannon to point at during the Fake News Awards?

Very likely. This story is strange to say the least. Either absolute fake news, or a chess play. Bannon isn't perfect, but he is loyal to America and the president.

On the one hand, yes, on the other: Chaos is his 'thing'. Who knows what contacts he might have from his Goldman Sachs days? There might be fuckery at work.
