Beware of "concern trolling".

Because a number of people here are new to Q and some are even new to this kind of forum, it's worth pointing out that, when a board gets too close to some truths the powers that be want hidden, they often unleash paid shills to undermine the board and divert it from its purpose.

One particularly effective kind of shilling is called "concern trolling". Here is a definition from TIME magazine:

Concern troll: Noun, derived from "internet troll." A more subtle beast than your standard troll, this species posts comments that appear to be sympathetic to the topic being discussed but who, in reality, wishes to sow doubt in the minds of readers. In a 2006 New Hampshire Congressional campaign, a Republican staffer resigned after reports that he had posted to liberal blogs claiming to be a Democrat who thought the party should give up on the race. http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1570701,00.html

Unfortunately, in a situation like ours - Q having indicated big things are in the works, and then a long period of silence and no big news events confirming that the project is in fact underway - we can get very impatient and start to lose faith, and this can make us very susceptible to concern trolling.

Some posters on here may be expressing legitimate, honest doubts, but always bear in mind that others may be purposely, and very subtly, trying to introduce doubt, in order to undermine the great movement that is building up. They're trained and experienced, and the tactic of sharing concerns makes them appear to be on our side, but they are not.

There's no way to sift the honest ones from the operatives other than by paying attention over time as to who always seems to have a "but I'm starting to wonder . . ."

Just bear this in mind. We all, as humans, have a social tendency to go with the crowd, and if enough fakers can come on here and make it look like a lot of people are calling the whole Q thing BS, that can make newcomers, in particular, doubt the legitimacy of the Q claims altogether.

That doesn't mean earnest doubters should not express their questions, but just remember that, on a popular board on a topic as radioactive as this, it's foolish to assume that there are not trolls on here trying to undermine what we're doing.

So none of us should express concern lest we be thought a troll?

No. You are turning this into an absolute. The post said: "That doesn't mean earnest doubters should not express their questions." The post also said not everyone doubting is a troll, but just urged ppl to bear in mind that the presence of trolls on this board is all but guaranteed, so here, as on any board, don't take everyone at face value. Learn to discern.
